Beauty, Image and the Christian Woman
Wednesday, May 15 - PLEASE NOTE: New date and time
7:00PM to 9:30PM at W83 Ministry Center, Room 406
$10 register here

We live in a culture - and city - that idolizes physical beauty in women. The pressure to meet these unrealistic standards has created an epidemic of depression, eating disorders and distorted self-image for women. In this seminar, we will examine this cultural phenomenon, consider how God defines beauty, and explore how the gospel can empower us to address these pressures and transform our self-image and identity. Taught by Sandi Taylor, MA Counseling.

How People Change  (nine week class)
Thursdays, April 4, 11, 18, 24, May 2, 9, 16, 30, June 6
7:00PM to 8:30PM at W83 Ministry Center, Room 412
$20 register here

This class addresses the need to equip believers for personal growth and ministry. True, lasting change begins in the heart, and is the result of understanding how the Gospel – Christ’s past, present, and future grace – applies to how we live our daily lives. The truths of Scripture provide life-giving answers to questions such as: What are you facing? What should you be like? Why do you do what you do? How do you change? How should you live now? The How People Change Study challenges and equips participants to live out the Gospel in their everyday lives, preparing them see their friendships redemptively. Friendships are about personal ministry, speaking graciously into each other’s lives over a cup of coffee or on the phone, coming along side one another with the goal of personal transformation. Study guide will be provided. Taught by Lois Kehlenbrink, counselor at Redeemer Counseling Services

Credibility of Christianity
