Nursery
Infants (0-2)
Our desire for these little ones is to provide a loving, safe environment where they begin to hear, learn and experience the love of Christ.
Babies and toddlers will be held, fed, diapered, played with and loved upon. All nursery classes are divided by age and development.

Each nursery class is also visited by an engaging curriculum teacher who ties every lesson back to God as creator and introduces the Bible as God's word. Additionally, our permanent staff teachers lead circle time, story time, coloring activities and snack each week.

Preschool (3's & 4's)
The Preschool uses David C. Cook’s Tru curriculum—a spiritually forming, family empowering curriculum designed to meet the specific needs of today’s generation.

TruWonder reveals the wonder of who God is to preschool children, allowing them to explore, discover, respond and be blessed in an interactive environment. Lessons focus on the Big God Story and allow children to learn God’s entire story, with a different emphasis each year. The goal of Tru is for children to understand that they not only play a part in this incredible story, but are also part of a much larger faith community of past, present and future believers.

Each week, they will experience one part of the Big God Story and will respond through exciting games and worship in an interactive environment. The curriculum is divided into two main components, worship and small group time.

Wonder Worship
A large group worship time during which our preschoolers will be introduced to the Bible as one complete story about God's love and redemption through Jesus Christ. Children will engage in worship during the Big God Story, the Bible will come alive for our preschoolers in new ways. The children will dramatize one part of God's word each week, and will begin to explore how they too, are a meaningful part of God's wonderful story.

They will then have small group time providing an opportunity to build relationships—both with peers and leaders—as they apply and reflect on the lessons through art, activities and prayer.

First and Second Grades
The first and second graders are going through the curriculum based off, The Jesus Storybook Bible written by Sally Lloyd Jones and Sam Shammas. The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the story beneath the stories in the Bible and reveals how Jesus is at the center of God’s creation and story of salvation. For more information about this curriculum, please click here.

Third, Fourth and Fifth Grades
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are advancing through Desiring God’s curriculum: The ABC’s of God, using the alphabet as a framework for teaching the attributes of God, the curriculum explores the delight that God has in himself as the source, means and purpose of all things. Each lesson asks and answers three key questions, "Who is God?", "What is he like?" and "How should I act toward him?" as it presents a theology for children.

Some things they are learning are that God is self-sufficient, creator, provider, eternal, understanding, attentive and faithful. Our children are continually encouraged to wrestle with these concepts as they grow deeper in their relationships with Christ. For more information about this curriculum, please click here.

Preschool (3's & 4's)
We are continuing to use a version of Jesus Storybook Bible Curriculum for our pre-school kids at the 5PM service.  Our teacher uses a visual picture board to teach Old Testament stories.  Each story is centered on that the fact that it points to our need for a Savior and that Jesus was indeed going to be born into this world as our Redeemer.  The children end their time in Sunday School by doing a coloring sheet or activity that goes with the lesson.
