Diaconate Services and Operations Manager

Seeking a mature Christian to join the Diaconate staff team full time to provide care and backup support to Deacons and Deaconesses in their work, as well as provide resource development, training, and emergency and administrative support to the Diaconate Director and the Ministry. Candidates must have a strong heart for mercy ministry with a minimum of two years post-graduate experience in social work administration, management and clinical/caseworker experience, or comparable degree and experience. Candidates must also exhibit initiative, attentiveness to detail, strong interpersonal, administrative and computer skills, effective communication skills, and excellent decision-making. Must share Redeemer vision, be a Redeemer member or in the process of becoming a member, and be committed to living in New York City.
