Bowery Mission Women's Center // Lead Activity Nights for Women in Recovery
Female volunteers treat the women to a safe and fun night out each month. Great opportunity for volunteers to build friendships with women who are going through a time of transition. Friday, June 19 from 6:30-8:30PM. Application is required. Learn more here.
The Father's Heart // Offer One-on-One GED Tutoring
Volunteers will help adult students prepare for their GED on Tuesdays from 5:45PM to 8:00PM in the East Village. Learn more here.
Salvation Army // Serve Lunch to the Community
Volunteers interact with guests and serve lunch to the Salvation Army community in East Harlem. Sundays from 11:30 to 2:30PM. Great opportunity for families to serve together. RSVP here.
Cru Inner City // Sort and Pack Food Donations

NYC Relief // Reach out to the homeless
Not sure how to care for your homeless neighbors? Serve alongside NYC Relief staff and offer food, encouragement, and practical resources to reach out to the homeless. Various dates and locations. RSVP here.
St.Paul’s House // Serve Breakfast to Homeless Before Work
Are you a morning person? Serve a hot breakfast to homeless guests on Mondays and Fridays from 7 to 9AM. RSVP here.
Citymeals-on-Wheels // Deliver Meals to Homebound Elderly
Volunteers will pick up meals at local East Harlem center, receive route for delivery, and walk in groups of 2-3 to deliver meals to elderly recipients in the neighborhood who can no longer shop for groceries or cook for themselves. Great for families or CGs! Saturday, July 18 from 9AM-12:30PM. RSVP online.
Chinese Christian Herald Crusades // Lead Day Camp for Kids from Chinatown Community
Volunteers will help lead Bible lessons, educational games and classes, play in the park and sports, and focused activities like art, chess, etc. for the elementary kids that attend year-round programming. Mon-Fri from 9AM-6PM starting July 6. Volunteers are asked to commit to serving once a week. RSVP online.
DeWitt Nursing Center // Join Team to Host Worship Service for Elderly
Volunteers will lead various aspects of the worship service, which includes a time of confession, renewal, scripture reading, preaching, and music. Volunteers also spend time getting to know the residents and building relationships with them. Sunday, July 5 from 2-4PM. RSVP online.
