Lenten Evening Prayer: Lamenting the violence against the Asian community
March 23, 2021 from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pmWe deeply lament the continued violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, including the murders that took place in Atlanta. We are grieved and angered by the injustice and dehumanization that so many have experienced. And we recognize the painful reality that these kinds of injustices are not new. 1 Corinthians 12 tells us that we are one body with many members. Let us bear the suffering of many of our members together as one body. Join us for prayer as we cry out to God in lament and seek his help in being a community that protects and upholds the worth and lives of our Asian brothers and sisters.
