Open Door ESL Outreach

What better way to get to know our students than conversing with one another over a traditional holiday meal!
- We are bringing our students from both Manhattan sites together for this special holiday event.
- Thanksgiving-themed conversation questions will be provided and you will be assigned to a small group of students.
These events are not only helpful for our students in practicing their conversation skills, but also in cultivating great friendships within our Open Door "familia" between students and volunteers.
Volunteer qualifications: No Spanish language experience is required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers are not able to bring children with them.
